[The"Odd Man"] [Key Races] [Track Bias] ["Must Bet Energy"]
Each race track has a "Condition Book" that decides which horses can run in each of the ten daily races. Randomly, certain Race Conditions bring together an unusually superior group of Thoroughbreds. We call these "Key Races". The winners of these races become a "Must Bet" angle play in future races, as combined with three simple rules. See "Anatomy of a Race Meet".
Did you know that there is a Tote Board "Angle Play" that has produced 50% Wins at almost all North American race tracks for 28 years (taught to Selvidge by his trainer-partner in 1969). If you want to know this "angle", read pages 6-8 in "Anatomy of a Race Meet", or E-Mail: horsestk@horsestalk.com.
Almost all Breeder's Cup (and other major Stakes races) longshot Winners have had a "Must Bet Energy Number". This is a numerical value that represents the degree of "muscling up" each horse should have received from its last three efforts. "MBEN" horses have paid up to $360+ to Win for each $2 ticket (record high at Meadowlands in 1991).
Jim Selvidge's "Energy Number Formula" was created in 1987, and is a primary Factor in TRULINE 2000. For other reflections of TRULINE, E-Mail: horsestk@horsestalk.com.
Jim Selvidge and Trillis Parker teach clients how to "read the bias". Included in these academics is a dynamite "angle play" created by TRULINE hard copy. Once each Factor has been assigned the specified points in the first five races, the client bets any horse in every subsequent race that has a five-point advantage over the next nearest competitor.
In the 11th Race recently at Louisiana Downs, the top horse had 13 1/2 "bias points". He was 43-1 in the public wagering. Two other horses had three points, and two had 2.5 points. With a terrible trip, the 43-1 horse finished second by a neck, paying $29.00 to Place. Boxed with the other Bias contention, the race scored a $1700 Trifecta and an $8700 Superperfecta.
